NEWGEN is a referral-based clinic. We accept referrals from your primary physician and other local specialists. Referrals are required by many but not all providers or plans.  Call to inquire if your carrier or plan requires authorization or referral.

For health care insurance members, prior authorizations are required for those insured with Calvo’s SelectCare, NetCare, TakeCare, TriWest Health Care Alliance, and Workman’s Compensation in order to schedule a consultation and evaluation with our physical therapists.

To ensure that everything is in order regarding seeing our physical therapists, it’s important to be proactive, and make sure that your insurance provider has received a referral or pre-authorization request from your primary care physician and has approved your pre-authorization before making an appointment. That way, you will know that your physical therapy visit will be covered under your health care plan.
